Site Plans
An accurate Site Plan is the beginning of successful pavement and site management. By the time major pavement work is necessary, either original project drawings are unavailable or are virtually useless due to incorrect information. Few plans accurately reflect current site features.
Creation of an accurate site plan provides necessary information for upcoming site maintenance projects, including repairs and improvements to pavement, site work concrete and landscaping.
Current technology allows electronic collection of site work information for direct transfer into computer databases, which are then used to create plans using computer-aided drafting (CAD) systems.
CAD-generated site plans offer several flexible features, and are the basis for the most effective site plan design, construction and maintenance work. By using electronic layers, we can separate various site features. PEI can generate plans with a base plan plus striping, signage and paint markings, or a plan with the base plan plus utilities, or a base plan and landscaping, or a base plan with unit numbers. We can develop any variety of plans and scale them to the appropriate size (8 ½ x11-inches for unit numbers or 1 =20-foot-plan for parking lot layout).
With the electronic database collection, we can obtain accurate and precise elevations as well as horizontal locations. It’s also easy to update and replot the plans for any future work without redrafting. We can also use CAD-generated site plans for inventory data, stall numbering plans, etc. A CAD site plan is a sound investment in the future.
